Internationally, March 20 is Ravioli Day. Still a popular pasta today, ravioli’s roots can be traced way back to at least the 14th century.
White Wine: 2019 Affinitas Furmit, Tokaj, Hungary $16.95 – This white blend has intense and elegant scents of white flowers and spice that has hints of summer fruits and spice on the palate. A nice rounded slightly buttery finish.
Red Wine: 2021 Durdilly Beaujolais Les Grandes Coasses $19.95 – This wine is pretty much the essence of Beaujolais, with plump black berry and cherry fruit, a touch of crunchy acidity, a hint of wild herb, and a soft, supple, fruit-filled finish.
